Brad Marchand Disrespected by ESPN Projection
ESPN made many projections for next season, and the one on Brad Marchand is raising a lot of eyebrows.
ESPN's Shocking Prediction
According to ESPN's experts, Marchand's production will drastically drop next season and he'll only manage to tally 46 points.
The Bruins' Fall
A year ago, Marchand scored 32 goals and 80 points in 70 games. Since then, he has undergone hip surgeries and missed the start of last season, where he ended up scoring 67 points in 73 games in the record-breaking Bruins' season.
Now, ESPN thinks he'll get fewer than 50 points.
How did we get there?
Well, the many important departures from the Bruins will probably hurt his production. Playing with Pastrnak and Bergeron helps when it comes to earning points.
At 35 years old, it will be difficult for Marchand to get more than 50 points, but fans are confident he can do it again.
