According to Chris Johnston the Toronto Maple Leafs will be signing Alex Bishop from the University of Toronto to an Amateur Tryout.
The Leafs do not currently have the cap space to recall a goaltender as Timothy Liljegren will draw in for tonight's game due to an injury.
Petr Mrazek was hurt at the end of the 2nd period of their Thursday night game against the Ottawa Senators.
The Leafs will likely recall Michael Hutchinson on an emergency recall once Mrazek has missed a game, but until then it will be Bishop backing up starter Jack Campbell.
The Maple Leafs have been mocked and ridiculed since losing to the AHL affiliate's Zamboni driver, David Ayers. Ironically this occured after Petr Mrazek was hurt after a Kyle Clifford collision.
Will Campbell stay healthy or will the Leafs try and slay their EBUG demons?
