Ducks Defenseman Shares His Uncensored Thoughts On The Bruins
The Anaheim Ducks are expected to be one of the worst teams in the league yet again this season. That does not mean their season won't be filled with little fun moments though. Tonight we got one of those fun moments when Ducks defenseman Urho Vaakanainen accidentally cursed live on air.
Vaakanainen Curses In Live Interview
The Anaheim Ducks took on the Boston Bruins tonight and while the game remains scoreless, we did get one funny moment from an in-game interview during the 1st intermission. Ducks defenseman Urho Vaakanainen was asked what his thoughts were on the Bruins and he had something interesting to say.
"They are slippery. They play simple hockey, put the puck behind the D you know, and they work, work their ***** off so you just got to be hard."
Urho clearly felt bad about it as soon as it was pointed out to him, but luckily it wasn't that big of a deal. Afterall, professional athletes' do have a history of saying worse things live on air. Good thing live television comes with that built in delay.
The Ducks are currently 7th in the pacific division with a 1-3 record as they look to finally turn a page and be competitive. Notably, their -2 goal differential is 4th best in the division, so perhaps they can build on that.
