Fans furious and confused after controversial first goal of the game

The Tampa Bay Lightning scored the first goal of game 4 just 36 seconds into the game but unfortunately like many other goals in these playoffs, there is a bit of controversy behind it.

Darcy Kuemper attempted to make a save and the puck hit his mask which knocked it off, Cirelli then picked up the rebound and scored.

According to many this was a good goal, but a huge amount of fans are not a fan!

This is the rule on the goal:

Rule 9.6: When a goalkeeper has lost his helmet and/or face mask and ... the opposing team has control of the puck, play shall only be stopped if there is no immediate and impending scoring opportunity.
