The Flyers have been plagued by injuries all season, but it appears they might finally be turning a corner. With the recent announcement that Joel Farabee and Derick Brassard are set to return, the Flyers got even more good news.
When asked about forward Kevin Hayes, interim head coach Mike Yeo shared the following:
He's not going to play Saturday. But he's getting close, and think there's a good chance we could see Kevin in the lineup. I know he had a real positive MRI, a real positive doctor's appointment that gave him some good news.
Obviously, you guys watching practice, I don't know if you can pick up on it, but can tell that he's got more pace and more jump to the way he looks right now compared to when he was in the lineup.
It sounds as though Hayes should also be returning to the lineup shortly. It is also expected Carter Hart will return Saturday against the Capitals after battling an eye infection.
