Former NHL player thinks playoffs are rigged for the Maple Leafs

When fans found out the Toronto Maple Leafs first round opponent in the 2022 Stanley cup playoffs was the two time defending Stanley Cup champions, Tampa Bay Lightning, many were already counting the Toronto Maple Leafs out.
However one game has seemed to change fans opinions and doubt has to tuned into belief.
The Toronto Maple Leafs shocked the hockey world in game one, not just for winning, but for the score. The Maple Leafs dominated the Lightning from puck drop until the final whistle.
However a former NHL defenseman who's had quite the rivalry with the Toronto Maple Leafs during his time had quite the accusations against the Toronto Maple Leafs. According to former Ottawa Senators defenceman Marc Methot the playoffs are fixed in favour of Toronto Maple Leafs.
