Over the years we've seen some signature celebrations after winning games or scoring a big goal. A few that come to mind are Tie Domi riding the stick, or Alexander Ovechkin's 'hot stick'. We've seen some players come up with some very clever ones, but this one went a little too far.
After the goalie made the save to win the game in a shootout, he decided to preform a 'celly' for the crowd.
The goalie proceeds to put his stick between his legs and stroke the shaft pretending to 'pleasure himself' before animating an explosion at the crowd.
A play like this is actually punishable by suspension depending on what league you're in. It is considered a ''gross misconduct'' and could carry a multi game suspension.
A Gross Misconduct penalty will be assessed to any player or team official who conducts themselves in a manner as to make a travesty of the game by using obscene, profane or threateningly abusive language, gestures or actions towards any person.
