Jack Eichel Reveals Which Canadian Team He Was Almost Traded To
Stanley Cup-winning forward Jack Eichel recently spoke on his trade process and how he was almost traded to a Canadian franchise.
Eichel Almost Traded To Calgary
In a recent interview, Jack Eichel reminisced on his trade process and how he was almost traded to a couple of teams. He mentioned early on that Minnesota, Carolina, and Colorado all expressed interest but things eventually fell through.
He stressed how the team needed to be right for him and then in the end dropped a bombshell revealing that it was between Vegas and Calgary at the end.

Eichel's Dominance With Vegas
Since he started playing with the Golden Knights, Eichel has been among the best in the league. His first season was a bit slow with 25 points in 34 games. His next season was closer to the Jack Eichel everybody knows where he scored 66 points in 67 games. The playoffs was where he came out scoring 26 points in 22 games en route to a Stanley Cup.
This year he has carried over his playoff success and currently has 15 goals and 39 points through 34 games. Eichel currently leads the Golden Knights in scoring and is finally filling out the potential everybody knew he had in his draft year.
