During his tenure as General Manager Marc Bergevin implemented a rule that required all players to wear their helmets during warm-ups. Bergevin felt this rule would keep players safe, especially after the Taylor Hall incident in Edmonton.
Well it appears that Jeff Gorton has undone this rule as Saturday night in Nashville the Canadiens veteran players were all allowed to take warmup without their helmets on.
This appeared to have been appreciated by those not wearing their helmets as they seemed to be enjoying warmup a bit more than usual. This is just another way Gorton has put his finger prints on the Habs during his short time in Montreal.
