Yesterday it was the Colorado Avalanche's Stanley Cup parade which was definitely a reason for players to celebrate and have a few drinks. A large majority of the city came out to celebrate the Stanley Cup champions, which was quite the eventful day.
With the celebrations starting early in the day and by the looks of it, quite a few of the Avalanche players continued the celebrations into the night.
A long day of drinking and celebrating Kurtis MacDermid definitely found his limit yesterday. During the night party, MacDermid got a little excited and tried to lift the cup over his head, but unfortunately most likely due to all the alcohol consumed, the 35lb trophy was a little too heavy, throwing him off balance and fell to the ground hard, most likely causing another dent in the trophy.
How many dents do you think will be in the cup by the time they give it back?
