The Coyotes are 30th this season in attendance and for a team that generates almost no revenue per ticket that's not a good sign. By now most people have heard about the Coyotes issues with the City of Glendale and despite Gary Bettman affirming the plans to keep the Coyotes in Arizona there is at least one insider sharing the NHL is planning it's Arizona exit strategy.
According to Friedman he believes the NHL is already working on its exit strategy. Last week it was revealed the Coyotes had lost approximately $141,000,000 over the last 10 years, which to Friedman's point any Commissioner would feel is unsustainable.
Friedman also shared he thinks Kansas City and Houston are the front runners for any relocation as it keeps the conferences balanced and have large population markets.
