The NHL held it's annual draft lottery last night to find out who gets the first overall pick at the upcoming draft, and Montreal fans are back to cheering in the streets as they were selected for the first overall pick in the 2022 draft, where center Shane Wright is projected to go first overall.
Gary 'Batman' Bettman seems to have a displeasure for Canadian markets, and doesn't seem too happy that Montreal got the pick. In previous years, he announces the winner with excitement, but this year he seems a little disappointed. We all know that he wants the Arizona franchise to succeed, perhaps he was really rooting for them to get the pick?
