It was a dangerous night for Goaltenders in the game between the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche. The Two would do battle tonight in Rexall Place as for two teams that are hoping to take a serious run in the playoffs.
The bad night for goaltenders started early in the first period when Colorado Avalanche super star defenceman Cale Makar tried to clear the puck off the boards and out of his zone, the puck would deflect of the stick of Edmonton Oilers Star Connor Mcdavid and go into the bench and accidentally getting Colorado Avalanche goaltender Pavel Francouz in the side of the head, which he was cut and left to the room.
Continue the the 3rd period with the Edmonton Oilers leading 4-2 the Oilers fans had a scary moment when Colorado Avalanche forward Artturi Lehkonen accidentally crashes into Oilers Goaltender Mike Smith who feel awkwardly.
Rest easy though Oilers fans, Smith was ok, as he got up and fed Artturi Lehkonen some elbows and the blocker for his troubles.
