According to a source the Toronto Maple Leafs are currently shopping forward Pierre Engvall in an attempt to bolster their blue line.
The injury bug has hit the Maple Leafs hard recently as Mitch Marner, Travis Dermott and Rasmus Sandin have joined Ilya Mikheyev and Petr Mrazek on the injured list.
Engvall is set to make 1.25 million dollars this year before becoming a restricted free agent at the end of this season. The 6'5 Swede has 9 points in 27 games this season.
According to the source the Leafs are eyeing Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo and Detroit's possible expiring contracts on the backend as targets.
