It's been another tough year for the Buffalo Sabres. Granted they were 100% better then last year's team and showing some promise with prospects but still far from a playoff team.
However the Sabres announced some huge news I think everyone is going to love. According to NHL insider Darren Dreger of TSN, The Buffalo Sabres 1st overall pick in this past NHL's draft is expected to officially sign his ELC otherwise known as entry level contract and will join the Buffalo Sabres for the remainder of the season after his NCAA hockey season ends.
Owen Power had a epic year in the NCAA with the University of Michigan Wolverines hockey club aswell represented Team Canada at the 2022 World Jrs until it was unfortunately cancelled due to Covid 19.
Power also went on to represent Team Canada in Men's hockey in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Power was a huge part of the Michigan Wolverines season with a 31-9-1 record and are set to take on The University of Denver in the Frozen Final Four Beginning Thursday in Boston.
Power has it all he's big at 6'6 215 pounds, fast, has tremendous skill, he's been compared to Hedman. Power has 32 points in 32 games this season.
