Tampa Bay Lightning's forward Pat Maroon takes a shot at the NHL big time during the post game conference last night.
During the game we saw alot of trash talk and gamesmanship to try to throw other's off their game however last night the official's weren't having it. With Tampa Bay Lightning's forward Pat Maroon and Toronto Maple Leafs Wayne Simmonds were getting their chirp on, while on opposing benches. The refs would give Maroon and Simmonds both a 10 minute misconduct penalty for it.
Tampa Bay Lightning's Pat Maroon was asked about it after the game, where Maroon would then criticize the league after saying: This games now going the opposite way I guess.
"The game's is going in the wrong way. I guess it's better to watch 1980's hockey game where they were allowed to be chirping each other. This games going the opposite way now I guess."
