Player throws his stick at referee

The game of hockey can cause emotions to flare. At times those tempers boil over and cause players to cross the line. Usually when the line is crossed it's with another player.
That's exactly what happened with this player. After a missed call the player allows his temper to get the best of him and he violently throws his stick at the ref.
There is no additional information available at this time about what punishment he received but it's definitely a lengthy one.
