It`s been another yeah of potential that turned out to be fustration and dissapointment for the Winnipeg Jets and its fans. The Jets are 6th in the Central Division with a 35-30-11 recored and are 10 points behind the Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars who are fighting for that last playoff spot in their division.

I honestly believe the Winnipeg have gotten worse since the resignation of head coach Paul Maurice. Dave Lowry hasn't improved this team since replacing Paul Maurice who believed he took the team as far as he possibly could and needed someone else to step in.

After back to back loses this weekend, the Winnipeg Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers had some harsh words for his fellow teammates and his head coach Dave Lowry.

"Our team's performance sucked it really sucked."
- Nikolaj Ehlers

It didn't stop there however, Winnipeg forward Kyle Connor would add to it saying:

"Two critical games two lousy efforts. We have alot of lack of motivation by some of the guys in here that explains this performance or lack there of."
-Kyle Connor

Lastly Winnipeg Jets forward Paul Stastny:

"What happens in a season is if you're not focused, you're not dedicated. Your not ready to go every single night, it gets away from you real quick"
-Paul Stastny

This team clearly is not in a good place and who's at fault? The players? coaches? GM? Something needs to change in Winnipeg or they won't be in the playoff next season either.
