REPORT: Photo going VIRAL - All but confirms Carey Price's career is OVER
When you think of the greatest goalies of all time, normally the first that come to your mind are Patrick Roy and Martin Brodeur but for the last decade, Carey Price's name deserves to be in that conversation as well.
After being drafted in 2005, 5th overall to the Montreal Canadiens, Price took over the starting role with the Habs in 2007. For quite a few years, he put up godly numbers while playing on Montreal Canadiens teams that were far below average. Price single handedly put this Canadiens on his back and carried this team to the playoffs year after year.
During his career, the Montreal Canadiens have had a player on his team reach 80 points once, 15 year career and only 1 80 point scorer. Also the highest goal scorer during his time was Pacioretty who put up 39 goals, once.
Price has a gold medal at World Juniors, Olympics, World cup, and has won the Vezina, Hart, Jennings, Ted Lindsay and the Bill Masterton award.
He has done everything he could in this league, but unfortunately, a stanley cup is the only thing missing from his Hall of Fame career.

Price missed almost all of last season after recovering from an injury and battle with addiction, and despite making a late season comeback, the recovery from his injury has not gone well and he is not projected to play this season.
