It's been a few weeks now and it's toned down a bit in the media, but after the Boston Bruins announced that they had signed Mitchell Miller to a 2 year deal, the entire hockey world was set on fire.

People were livid! Fans, player, media, this may have been the first time ever that everyone was on the same page over a poor decision made by the Boston Bruins.

It only took the weekend for the Bruins to clue in that they'd made a mistake, and tried to terminate his contract, which they wont be able to do until atleast this summer by mutual termination or a buy-out.

The reason for this outrage of the signing, was the disturbing decisions Miller made in his past. He bullied a poor boy by the name of Isaiah Meyer-Crothers and forced him to do absolutely disgusting things like lick a lollipop that was rubbed in the urinal.

Meyer-Crothers eventually released a statement through the Hockey Diversity Alliance about his experiences with Miller and it just further fuelled the distaste for Miller.

Horrible things were done to this child and the HDA did an amazing thing to bring a smile to this kids face.

Yesterday Isaiah Meyer-Crothers got to spend the entire day in Detroit with the Maple Leafs Wayne Simmonds, who is a member of Hockey Diversity Alliance, and will have the pleasure of attending the Maple Leafs and Detroit Red Wings game tonight.

Isaiah's mother posted the following photo on twitter:

It's not everyday you get to spend some time with a National Hockey League player and attend a game with them. While this doesn't fix what was done to Isaiah in the past, it's great to see the kindness by others to help enjoy his future.
