A reporter has revealed which team will consider bringing back Corey Perry following his contract termination in Chicago.

Edmonton To Look Into Perry Per Reporter

Corey Perry currently sits without a home in the NHL following the incident that left the Blackhawks deciding to terminate his contract. Despite this, there are rumblings of Perry potentially signing with a contending team.
Jim Matheson of The Edmonton Journal, the Oilers will likely look into bringing in the former Hart winner.
"Expect Oilers GM Ken Holland to explore Corey Perry's availability... Holland will have to wait for Perry's substance-abuse situation to clear, and he'll certainly have to investigate fully what Perry did to have his contract terminated in Chicago, but if he doesn't feel it's a serious impediment, Holland would be all-in on the borderline Hall of Famer, even if he turns 39 in May." - Jim Matheson

Perry's Fit In Edmonton

Perry, if on a league minimum contract, could prove to be quite valuable in Edmonton. He could bring an elite net-front presence to their powerplay as well as a nice scoring touch to their bottom six. With plenty of experience throughout his career, Perry knows what it takes to win and knows what it takes to get far in this league.
Edmonton could certainly use this and if Perry is able to find chemistry with some top players like Connor McDavid or Leon Draisaitl, he could have a career rejuvenation nearing 40 years old.
