In game 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs Bruins forward David Pastrnak collided with Hurricanes goaltender Antii Raanta while he was attempting to play the puck.
The play resulted in a penalty for Pastrnak and Raanta left the game with Carolina's backup goalie Pyotr Kochetkov taking the ice in his stead.
Raanta was already filling in for Carolina's starting goalie Frederick Anderson, so Carolina is dangerously close of running out of goalies.
Prior to the collision Raanta had faced 6 shots and stopped them all.
Carolina is up 1-0 on Boston in the best of 7 series but this could be a serious blow to the Hurricanes which could tip the series in the Bruins favour!.
