This is the stanley cup finals and when you hear the term ''anything for the cup'' this is one of those examples of exactly what players will put themselves through to try and win.
Kadri is far from fully healthy but since it's the finals, goodluck trying to keep him out of them. But, who could blame him, right? He's been in the league for years and this is the closest he has ever been to winning a cup, and some players go their entire careers without this chance, so not a chance was Kadri going to miss this opportunity.
20 days ago Kadri had surgery to repair his broken thumb, and when he decided he was going to play, the Avalanche training staff put together a very large protective layer for Kadri's glove.
That glove is MASSIVE and obviously Kadri much he in horrible pain during the game, but he and the team are doing everything possible to make sure he can play.
