The bad news continues for the Montreal Canadiens this morning as the team received news 5 more players have been placed on COVID protocol.
Montreal placed Jake Allen, Ben Chiarot, Joel Edmundson, Jeff Petry and Chris Wideman on the protocol list joining Laurent Dauphin, Mike Hoffman, Artturi Lehkonen and Tyler Toffoli who remain under COVID protocol.
The Canadiens were forced to make the following moves in accordance with the taxi squad policy.
As the NHL nears it's return it will be interesting how this impacts the Canadiens especially with the addition of Ben Chiarot who the Canadiens have been trying to trade to recoup some assets after their disasterous season.
