Tom Wilson has a reputation as one of the more physical players in the NHL. Today he reaffirmed that reputation as he was called for a minor penalty after his hit on Rangers forward Jonny Brodzinski left the blue shirt bleeding all over the ice.

The veteran power forward found himself in familiar territory as he entered the penalty box less than halfway through the first period of this morning's game between the Capitals and Rangers.

Wilson could be seen sporting a full face cage after he broke his nose after being high-sticked by Kings forward Alex Laferriere last Sunday. Brodzinski left the ice following the hit but luckily, the injury did not seem to be too serious as he was able to return to the game.

As seen on Tom Wilson crushes Jonny Brodzinski and leaves him leaking.
