A hockey game turns into a marriage proposal between two goalies
Following an ice hockey game in the Ohio beer league, two goalies got in line to shake each other's hand, and one went down on the ice and proposed to his girl.
Hockey and summertime don't usually go together, but there was recently a very touching story that caught the hearts of many in an Ohio beer league.
A hockey goalie proposed to his girlfriend, who was the goalie of the opposing team, following a game in the beer league. As the teams got to center ice to shake each other's hands, the goalie stopped right in front of his girlfriend, got down on his goalie pad, and popped the question. She was in a very good mood from just crushing her boyfriend's team 8-3, so she immediately said yes.

After his team got thumped 8-3, he still managed to pick up a win after the game 😂 💍
Goalies have always had a reputation of being oddballs, often engaging in weird rituals and superstitious behavior before games. People can only begin to imagine what their kids will have to endure, however maybe having two goalies as parents can really help the young ones turn into future Vezina Trophy winners. Congratulations to the happy goalie couple!
