EA Sports will be releasing NHL 25 in the next month or so, and more information will be provided within the next week or so about new features in the game.
Noah Strang of Daily Hive revealed on social media Monday that EA Sports accidentally leaked the reveal trailer of NHL 25 on YouTube a few days ahead of the official public release date of the video. The video was immediately taken down as soon as someone at EA Sports was made aware of the blunder, but it was up long enough for people to see that the Hughes brothers will be on the cover of the game.
As you can see, Noah Strang shared the full trailer on his X account which shows captain Quinn Hughes of the Vancouver Canucks along with his brothers Jack and Luke Hughes of the New Jersey Devils as the main players to be featured on the cover of NHL 25.
This is going to be the first time since NHLPA Hockey '93 that there will be three players featured on the cover of a game. In 1993, the cover consisted of Mike Richter, Randy Moller, and none other than Rod Brind'Amour. It will also be the first time that brothers will be on the cover of an EA Sports NHL game since 2011 when Vancouver Canucks twin brothers Daniel and Henrik Sedin were on the cover of the game that year for the NHL 11 version.
While video game fans can watch the "illegal" trailer now on Noah Strang's X account, the official release date of the public trailer by EA Sports will be on Thursday, August 22nd at 11 am ET, and fans will be able to catch it on EA Sports NHL's account on YouTube.
