Utah HC signed forward prospect Julian Lutz to a contract and no official announcement was made from Utah HC or the Arizona Coyotes.

Back in 2022, the Arizona Coyotes drafted German forward Julian Lutz 43rd overall. Two years later, they have since relocated to Utah and just now signed him to his entry-level contract.

Utah signs 2022 second-round pick Julian Lutz, who is coming off a solid season with the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers.

Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a contract for Artem Duda soon ...

Surprisingly, there was no official announcement for the Lutz signing and the news was broken by CapFriendly.

Lutz, a 6'2" winger, has been solid since being drafted and coming to North America. He spent the season with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL, his first season in North America, and played well scoring 24 goals and 68 points in 50 games. He led the Gamblers in scoring by 13 points while also having 12 fewer games played than the player in second place.

Lutz will now compete for an opening night spot on Utah HC's inaugural roster.

More details to come.
