For years now, plenty of Head Coaches have carried on throughout games to little punishment, but now it appears, at least in the OHL that they've begun taking major steps towards keeping them under control.
Kingston's Troy Mann suspended yet again
Despite being suspended once this season, Troy Mann, the Head Coach of the Kingston Frontenacs now gets yet another suspension, this time for just one game.
The second time Troy Mann has been suspended this season.
This one follows a game misconduct during a TV timeout in the second period of last night's game between Kingston and Niagara following a high-sticking penalty call on the Fronts. They were up 6-0 at the time.
The incident that led to this suspension reportedly occurred during a TV timeout while his team was up 6-0, and now the league will keep a much closer eye on the former AHL coach.
#OHL Disciplinary Action: Kingston Frontenacs Head Coach Troy Mann has been suspended for one game as a result of actions on Feb. 24th at Niagara.
