Lifechanging news announced for Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak
Boston Bruins superstar forward David Pastrnak changed his life forever today as he married his long-time girlfriend Rebecca Rohlsson.
The wedding should come as no surprise to Bruins fans. The couple has been happy together for many years now and they even share a child together. At this point, it seemed more like a formality than anything else, but still a special day for the couple to celebrate and remember for the rest of their lives.
Furthermore, it makes sense why they would wait until the summer to tie the knot, considering how hectic the NHL season is. Every summer we see many players getting married because of this. This year we've seen players including
Mitch Marner,
Michael Bunting, and David Pastrnak all commit to their partners for life. Fans are always happy to see these things happen, but in Pastrnak's case much of the discussion online revolved around fashion.
Can we talk about Rebecca's Bridal Dress and Pastrnak's Suit 🥰
I'm so happy for them
This makes sense, considering that Pastrnak has been known for his eccentric fashion sense. He regularly shows up to games in suits many players would never consider.
This is likely why many fans were confused by his suit at his own wedding. It did not appear to be properly tailored to him, especially the pants, which appeared to be way too long for him!
Regardless, the Bruins forward is at his best right now. Pastrnak set career highs in the 2022-23 season across the board when he scored 61 times in the regular season and added 52 assists for 113 points. Last season, he nearly got there again, but with far less goal-scoring. Still, 47 goals and 110 points is a very spectacular season in its own right. Will he cross the 100-point mark again next season, making it three years in a row? Be sure to pay attention to the Bruins next season to find out.
