Carolina Hurricanes sign former first-round pick Jack Roslovic
Tonight the Carolina Hurricanes have announced another addition to their forward group after signing center Jack Roslovic as a free agent.
The Carolina Hurricanes are retooling their roster for another Stanley Cup Playoff run under new General Manager Eric Tulsky. Today that retooling continued with the signing of former first round NHL Draft pick Jack Roslovic.
Jack Roslovic will be signing in Carolina
During his time in the NHL, Jack Roslovic has failed to live up to the lofty expectations that being a first-round pick brings. However, he has carved out a good career as a bottom-six scoring forward. After being traded to the New York Rangers at the trade deadline Jack Roslovic was a good playoff piece racking up 8 points in 16 games.
Now he will join the perennial playoff-contending Carolina Hurricanes and likely play in a third or fourth-line role. With the Hurricanes reshaping their forward group through free agency Jack Roslovic could be one of many players to help bring a new identity to the depth of the Hurricanes.
