Connor Bedard's rookie season has been incredibly impressive, and while he plays on one of the worst teams in recent NHL memory, it hasn't stopped him starring.
Coming into Saturday's game against the Dallas Stars, Connor Bedard had just one goal in his past eight games, but against a loaded division rival, he brought his beautiful shot out once again.
What a snipe by Bedard 😮💨
Even if all Bedard had was his beautiful release, he'd likely make a career in the NHL, but with so many attributes on top of that and the drive and determination, he appears ready to become an all-time great. With the goal, Bedard is now up to 22 goals in 62 games with 59 points, making him the front runner for this seasons Calder Trophy.

The beautiful release helped put the Blackhawks up 1-0 on the Stars as he beat Sebastian Wedgewood up high, with Chicago going on to pick up the surprising 3-2 win over a very good Stars team.
