BREAKING: Contending Team Places Player On Waivers
In breaking news, this contending team has just placed a player on waivers, risking losing him to another team.
Colorado Places Fredrik Olofsson on Waivers
It's not every day that potential Cup contenders have to place players on waivers since they usually have their roster pretty honed in. However, that isn't the case apparently for the Colorado Avalanche, who have placed left winger Fredrik Olofsson on waivers today.
Fredrik Olofsson (COL) on waivers
The move is a bit of a surprise since Olofsson has played in 55 games with the Avalanche this season. He has just 3 goals and 6 assists for the club, but will certainly be at risk of being claimed at this point in the year.
We will see what happens.
