Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj warned other NHL teams: they better not touch his little brother, Florian.

For any athlete, it's often a dream to compete alongside their siblings. In the NHL, we've seen it multiple times in the past with the Staal, Hughes, and now Xhekaj brothers, among others.

In Montreal, the Xhekaj brothers, Arber and Florian, have a bright future in hockey. They are both on their way to becoming an important part of the Canadiens' future, and we should see them in action together during a pre-season game.

Earlier today, they held an interview together after practice. They gave great answers to the reporters' questions, and one of the best moments came when a member of the media asked Florian if he was ready to be tested by his opponents in the pre-season games.

Before he could say anything, his brother took the mic and said that no one would touch him because he would be there.

Check out the whole scene here:

Of course, such a declaration is nice to hear for fans, as they'll get to see the Xhekajs play together and stand up for each other.

Unfortunately, I believe this could also be used against the Canadiens. If other teams know about this, they could go after Florian just to take both brothers out of the game. Removing two big players like the Xhekajs can be an advantage for an opposing team.

They will need to prove that they can play with maturity and for the benefit of the team before the coaching staff puts them together on the ice for a regular season game.

As of now, hype is through the roof for the Habs' first pre-season game against John Tortorella and the Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow night.
