Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj to miss tonight's game with injuries
In breaking news, Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj have been ruled out of the game today against the Toronto Maple Leafs with injuries.
The Montreal Canadiens are set to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight in a big matchup during Hockey Night in Canada. Unfortunately for Canadiens' fans, they will be missing two big parts of their lineup.
The Canadiens announced today that both Kaiden Guhle and Arber Xhekaj will be out of the lineup tonight with injuries. That means there will be no rematch between Xhekaj and Reaves if they want to fight.
Defensemen Kaiden Guhle (upper body, day-to-day) and Arber Xhekaj (upper body, further update to come pending evaluation) will not be available to play tonight. Defenseman Justin Barron was recalled from the Laval Rocket (emergency recall). Xhekaj had missed some time already this season with an injury and spent some time in the minors as a result. Guhle has played in 70 games for the Canadiens, recording 6 goals and 16 assists. With the Canadiens missing two of their defenseman, they were forced to call up Justin Barron from the minors.
Hopefully, for Canadiens fans, these absences won't be for long.
