Jack Hughes Throws His Goalies Under the Bus in Angry Rant
Jack Hughes just fired shots at his goalies last night after defeating the Seattle Kraken.
Hughes Throws His Goalies Under The Bus
Last night, the New Jersey Devils defeated the Seattle Kraken 3-1 in a relatively tight game. Following the victory, Jack Hughes threw his goaltenders under the bus for their play this season.
«When we get the saves, it's much easier to win.»
- #NJDevils Jack Hughes
Hughes expanded on his goalie thoughts in the scrum:
«Yeah, I think (Daws) played really well. Vitek played really well in Carolina. You get goaltending like that the last two games, it shows the results. He did a really good job tonight and we are happy with how he played.»
The Devils have struggled in net this year with none of their goaltenders having a GAA under 3.15 and only one having a sv% over .900.
As of now, the Devils are 4th in the Metropolitan and tied for points with the New York Islanders. If they are able to get more consistent goaltending throughout the rest of the year then they have a strong chance of making the playoffs.
