New York Islanders coming to contract agreement with Swiss defenseman
The New York Islanders have reportedly been scouting 6-foot Swiss defenseman Andrea Glauser fairly heavily and will be bringing him in quite soon.
Reports have surfaced out of Switzerland that Andrea Glauser will be signing a contract with the New York Islanders.

Lausanne HC in Swiss-A league has reportedly attracted #Isles attention.
Glauser has spent the entirety of his career in Switzerland and has spent the last three years with Lausanne HC. He has been a locker room leader with Lausanne being an alternate captain for the three years he has been there.
At 28 years old and 6-foot tall, many thought that he would stay in Switzerland and never come to the NHL but the Islanders see legit upside within his game and believe he could be a valued addition to their blue line.
