Brady Tkachuk sends a major insult towards Pittsburgh Penguins forward Samuel Poulin during a preseason game

The Tkachuk family has always been known for mixing skill, physicality, and overall annoyingness to play against in their game. This is especially true for Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk.

On Sunday during a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, a massive fight began between the two teams. Penguins enforcer Boko Imama fought Jan Jenik while Penguins prospect Samuel Poulin fought Senators enforcer Zack MacEwen.

After everyone was separated the players were heading back to their respective penalty boxes when Brady Tkachuk decided to hurl some major trash talk towards Samuel Poulin.

Brady Tkachuk took inspiration from a children's movie and called Samuel Poulin Megamind. The insult was done from the bench away from the Pittsburgh Penguins players where Brady Tkachuk could not be touched.

Brady Tkachuk has been known for this kind of trash talk in the past calling players a wide variety of names. However, this time Brady Tkachuk had earlier in the night dodged a fight himself which has caused a lot of controversy online.

The player that Brady Tkachuk insulted Samuel Poulin is a former first-round pick by the Penguins who has struggled to catch on in the NHL. He missed essentially the entire 2022-23 season while dealing with mental health problems. Of course, Brady Tkachuk was likely not aware of this context and just trash-talking his opponent regardless of who they were.

As the season gets underway it will be fun to follow Brady Tkachuk and see if he comes up with any other crazy trash talk lines to opponents.
