Former 6th overall pick Cody Glass traded to Pittsburgh
The Pittsburgh Penguins have made a trade with the Nashville Predators, where they have acquired former 6th overall pick Cody Glass.
It's been a busy day for the Pittsburgh Penguins today. It all started when they swapped some draft picks to the St. Louis Blues, who later offer sheeted two Edmontnon Oilers players, and now the Penguins have acquired a roster player in Cody Glass.
Cody Glass had so much potential and was expected to be one of the top players in the game, but he suffered many injuries and will never be the same again, but he can still provide very good depth for a team, and that's what Pittsburgh is hoping for.
Cody Glass was nearly a point per game player in the AHL last season, and he is very smart in both ends of the ice.
Cody Glass was selected right after Cale Makar and Elias Pettersson in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, so that goes to show how much of a top player scouts thought he could be. Here's hoping this trade works out for both Glass and the Pens.
