Dylan Holloway was stretchered out of the arena on Tuesday night, but less than 24 hours later, he's giving a fantastic update on his condition.

The St. Louis Blues came away with a tight 3-2 victory on Tuesday night over the Tampa Bay Lightning, but the biggest story of the night was Dylan Holloway, who was stretchered out of the arena in the first period after taking a puck to the neck. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, and after the game Head Coach Drew Bannister gave a very positive update on the young winger.

Now, Holloway himself has spoken out after he was taken care of, giving specifics as to what happened during and after that play.

"As soon as the puck hit my neck, I knew something was a little off. As soon as I started skating I felt a little lightheaded a bit and then when I was going to the bench it kind of felt like when you stand up too fast and you get that head rush. It felt like that but it kind of just kept coming on."

Holloway would also detail that he would black out after being hit by the puck, as he remembers nothing between that time and when he was on the stretcher next to the ambulance. Thankfully though, he looked in very high spirits given how concerned everyone was about his situation, and after all of that, he showed off the mark that the puck left on his neck.

Thankfully, it appears everything is now okay with Holloway, and while he didn't reveal a potential timeline to return, given how everything seems, it may not be as far away as once expected. Continue tuning in as we give updates on this scary situation with the Blues winger, with the team likely to give an update on a potential return in the next 24 hours.
