Seattle Kraken fire their 1st coach in franchise history, Dave Hakstol
The Seattle Kraken have officially parted ways with head coach Dave Hakstol after a disappointing season that saw the Kraken finish in the bottom 10 in the NHL.
Elliotte Friedman just announced that the Seattle Kraken are parting ways with their only coach in franchise history, Dave Hakstol.
Hearing the Seattle Kraken are making a coaching change. Dave Hakstol will be out.
Honestly surprised at this one. Second-round of playoffs in second season.
Hakstol has been the Kraken's bench boss for three years and before then was with the Philadelphia Flyers. He likely will not be without a job for long and could move to another team as an assistant.
