The Montreal Canadiens shocked the hockey world last year when despite NHL prospect Logan Mailloux requesting teams not the draft him, he was selected 31st overall by the Montreal Canadiens.
Mailloux was shunned from the hockey world for awhile after the 18 year old was fined for taking a photo of himself and a young woman without consent during an "intimate moment" and then sharing that photo with his teammates "to impress them."
Despite this, Montreal Canadiens ex-General Manager Marc Bergevin drafted him anyways.
It has been speculated over the past year whether or not Mailloux would be traded after he was not given an invitation to attend the rookie camp last year, but under this new management we might just be seeing a change of heart.
Mailloux has been seen by the media with Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and Jeff Gorton, which is the first time Mailloux has been seen with the Montreal Canadiens upper management staff.
