Aaron Rodgers Reveals the NHLer Who Saved His Career
MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers reached out to an NHLer about moving on from a franchise.
Rodgers Reaches Out To Pavelski
This past season, Aaron Rodgers was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets after spending 18 years with the Packers. It was recently revealed that he reached out to Joe Pavelski about his transition.
Pavelski is one of the few players in sports to move on from a long time team and transition seamlessly to their new franchises.
Their Similarities
Pavelski and Rodgers have many similarities regarding their career paths.
Both players are quite elite in their respective crafts and have been near the top of their sport for a long time now.
Pavelski left the San Jose Sharks after 13 years with the team which was obviously difficult as they were the team that took a chance on him in the 7th round and he was their captain at the time.
Since leaving San Jose, Pavelski has scored 279 points in 335 games.
While Pavelski has never won an MVP like Rodgers, he is a first-ballot Hall of Famer and an icon with his long time franchise.
