The Anaheim Ducks put up a great fight against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday, and after the game, the Ducks social media team scored a big win over the disrespectful Toronto media.
Anaheim Ducks social media team take a shot at the Toronto Sun
During that 2-1 overtime loss, the Ducks saw an incredible performance from 23-year old Lukas Dostal, who saved 55 of the 57 shots he saw on the night, drawing acclaim from everywhere.
Unfortunately, the Toronto Sun decided to take their coverage in a more disrespectful way, calling him a 'no-name goalie', to which they were called out on immediately.
His name is Lukas Dostal. He had 55 saves last night. He was NHL Rookie of the Month in October.
Be better,

An up-and-coming goaltender of the future
It's very safe to say that Dostal isn't a household name or an All-Star goalie at this point in time, but after another fantastic performance, there was just no need for this type of headline from the Sun.
In 16 games this year, Dostal has posted a solid .901 save percentage behind the dreadful Ducks defensive unit, and with John Gibson potentially out at the trade deadline, he's proving that he's more than capable of being a starter for this team going forward.
