This relocation city has just announced some major arena upgrades, indicating that the Coyotes' time in Arizona may be coming to an end.
Toyota Center in Houston is Getting NHL Ready for Potential Future Team
The Arizona Coyotes have been at risk of losing their team for quite some time now, and as they continue to struggle to find an NHL-calibre arena for their team, the likelihood of their move increases.
Now, it appears the Toyota Centre in Houston is making improvements in order to be NHL-ready.
Of note: The renovation underway at Houston's Toyota Center will include the installation of ice-making equipment that will ensure the building can ultimately be NHL-ready.
Houston Eyes NHL Team in Expansion or Relocation, Both Put Pressure on Arizona
Whether or not the Coyotes move to Houston, the interest of several cities to get an NHL franchise is undoubtedly putting pressure on the Coyotes to find something that works.

- Quebec City
- Salt Lake City
- South Forsyth (Metro Atlanta)
- Houston
- Portland
- San Diego
