BREAKING: The Worst Is Confirmed For This 1000 Game Veteran
A 1000-game veteran has had the worst-case scenario come to fruition following a brutal announcement.
Bailey Blows His Final Chance
The Ottawa Senators have just announced that they have released Josh Bailey from his PTO.
Roster update: The #Sens have released forward Josh Bailey from his PTO.
Bailey had spent his entire career thus far with the Islanders whom he had registered over 1,000 games. Bailey was always seen as one of the most consistent playmakers in the NHL and even got an all-star nod at one point in his career.
Now that he has been released, his NHL future is uncertain and there is a chance that he will never play another NHL game. Only time will tell what happens with Bailey but he will certainly have a tough time finding a team that will offer him a guaranteed contract.
