When the Boston Bruins are in town it is highly likely that Brad Marchand will work to get under the skin of a star player, usually with a play that ride the line between clean and dirty. When it comes to answering the bell with a tougher player though, Marchand will always back down as he intends the player to take a penalty.

O'Brien goes after Marchand, in words only

With Brad Marchand being Brad Marchand he decided to tussle with Clayton Keller once the whistle went as he wrestled him to the ground. The two received matching penalties and were seen chirping back and forth in the penalty box.

A player who will defend his teammates with a big blow or a brawl is Liam O'Brien. As soon as the TV microphones caught up with what O'Brien stated, he made it clear to Marchand that he was not happy with him.

"I'm [expletive] comin' Marchy, I'm coming"

It was clear O'Brien was not happy. It is also clear that Marchand was not going to do anything to O'Brien. Giving him the cold shoulder is a pretty good tactic to get under his skin though.

The results of the Arizona Coyotes and Boston Bruins game

Marchand registered his 900th career point in the NHL with an assist on the first-period goal by David Pastrnak. The game would go into overtime tied 3-3, the second overtime for Boston on a back-to-back night, with the Coyotes prevailing with a 4-3 win on a winning goal by Nick Schmaltz.
