It was recently revealed by Hockey News Hub, a reputable source for European hockey news, and others that Alex Galchenyuk will be signing with SKA St. Petersburg.
Still hearing Alex Galchenyuk will soon sign with SKA. They got work to do to fit in under the cap. #KHL
Galchenyuk will be joining the number one KHL team and will be competing for a championship alongside players like Brendan Leipsic and Matvei Michkov.
Galchenyuk has had a rough NHL career thus far that has not seen sustained success. He was signed to a contract by the Arizona Coyotes earlier this offseason but had it terminated 12 days later after he got into some legal trouble.
With SKA he will look to have a larger role and will look to prove himself worthy of returning to the NHL.
