Blackhawks Head Coach Provides First Update On Bedard
Connor Bedard left tonight's game against the New Jersey Devils after being clobbered by Brendan Smith.
After being announced out for the game media and fans waited anxiously for a more significant update. After the game Blackhawks Head Coach Luke Richardson spoke to the media and provided the update everyone had been waiting for.
Postgame, Chicago coach Luke Richardson said the Blackhawks will know more once Bedard is examined back home.
Now the waiting will continue as Bedard is further evaluated. With more evaluation needed it is safe to assume Bedard will likely miss at least the next couple of games. This will be a huge loss for the Blackhawks even if it ends up being best case scenario.
