The Chicago Blackhawks have officially made a waiver claim as they claimed 6'6" defenseman Jaycob Megna off waivers from the Seattle Kraken.

Megna is a 31-year-old defenseman that has bounced between the AHL and the NHL. He has 141 career NHL games under his belt and brings a solid game to any team. He is also not afraid to drop the gloves.
He will now take on a depth role with the Blackhawks and drop the mitts whenever he is called upon.
